$1k Cash Prize - NOVITATE Essay Contest Deadline

Submit an essay or abstract today for a chance to win $1k at upcoming Girard conference

If you or somebody you know are 23 and younger and interested in the thought of René Girard, please consider submitting an essay or abstract to this essay contest. Applicants need not be current students.

Please note that you can submit an abstract today. If you submit an abstract, you have until next Friday (Sept 8) to submit your final essay. The winner will be notified the following week (Sept 15).

The winner gets an expense-paid ticket to the NOVITATE Conference (Girard at 100) in Washington, DC and will be given the award in front of some of the world’s leading public intellectuals interested in Girard’s work.

Applicants must be under 23 at time of submission and based in the Continental United States (we cannot assist with visas or overseas travel).
